Window Schedule Repair – Contract Terms

These terms apply when you accept or decline recommended repairs for your window schedule.

Contract terms

1. The Contract Administrator has inspected the property, determined the extent of necessary repairs, and assessed the associated costs.

2. If a Lessee agrees to the recommended repairs, both the preparation and the final repair will be inspected by the appointed surveyor/Contract Administrator.

3. Confirmation of the works ("Accept"), will validate the proposed works and personally make the lessee beholden of the full price (including VAT) of the aforementioned works until the balance is settled.

3.1. A 1 year warranty is granted for the final product of the services carried out by Bullet Services LTD. Note: the warranty is guaranteed subject to access for remending purposes.

3.2 LATE FEE CHARGE: Bullet Services LTD exercises the right to impose a late fee charge per The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. In case the agreed invoice is not paid in due time (30 days since issue), a late fee charge will be imposed on the client. A fee of 0.01% of the total price will be applied on the final balance every 30 days since the issue date of the invoice. This fee will be repeatedly applied until the balance is fully cleared. A reminder of this charge will be automatically sent to the registered email address.

3.3 Legal action will be followed for any unsettled debt towards Bullet Services LTD.

3.4 The right to refund will not sustained if the reason for the request is a "change of mind" or "no longer needed".

4. Declining of the works ("Decline"), will validate the rejection of the proposed aforementioned works.

4.1 If the Lessee opts out of the recommended repairs, the decorators will perform their best efforts to make the windows presentable prior to the final decoration.

4.2 Scaffolding access is granted ONLY to Bullet Services operatives and approved visitors. No private contractor/subcontractor appointed by the lessee is allowed to carry any works by scaffold means, without approval of Bullet Services LTD.

4.3 In cases where the lessees chooses to carry personal or appointed works/repairs on the owned windows, a deference period of 2-3 weeks will be granted before the general decorations stated in the General Contract will commence. These works/repairs will need to be in strict accordance with our scaffolding policy (4.2).

Furthermore, nor Bullet Services LTD, the building managing agency or the Contract Administrator will be responsible for the conditions of the final product if the works/repairs carried out by the separate entity are not in accordance with Decoration & Painting Guidelines and Practices.

5. The lessee can request to accept the works even after the lessee's initial decision was a rejection of the works, only if the contractor (Bullet Services LTD), and the Contract Administrator deem that it won't affect the overall works schedule and deadline.

6. Neither the contractor (Bullet Services LTD), the Contract Administrator, nor the Building Managing Company will accept any liability for premature failure of the paintwork and subsequent deterioration of the woodwork, in the event that the recommended repairs are not carried out.
